If wick is let to become too long it can result in too quick evaporation of scent molecules. A wick that is long so it reaches too close to glass vessel edge may heat glass vessel until it breaks into pieces. After every use, make sure to center the wick if necessary.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAt first use, let the candle burn until an even melt pool of wax has developed. But maximum 3 hours. If the candle does not burn until an even melt pool has developed at first time use, it will tunnel.
