I moved through ateliers across Europe until the memories blurred into something softer than fact. High ceilings. Dress forms standing like quiet witnesses. The hush of serious work in near silence.

ATELIER 1887 opens with bergamot and lavender the clean, considered air of a workroom at the beginning of the day. Jasmine and lily move through the middle, soft and unhurried, the scent of fabric and flowers and quiet concentration. At the base, vanilla and musk and patchouli settle in like the end of a long fitting, warm and close, the scent of something finished.

Top notes: Bergamot, Geranium, Lavender

Middle notes:  Lavender, Jasmine, Lily, Amber

Base notes: Patchouli, Musk, Vanilla

GOOD TO KNOW:

BURNING AND CARE:

• Swedish natural soy wax
• Natural and synthetic fragrances 
• Keep the candle away from direct sunlight or other sources of strong light. Keep it at a cool and dry place. 
• Never leave a burning or/and hot candle unattended or alone with children or pets. 
• Always burn the candle on a heat resistant surface and not by an open window.
• Trim the wick of the candle before every use to 3-5 mm, this length should be maintained throughout the burning process. If wick is let to become too long it can result in too quick evaporation of scent molecules. A wick that is long so it reaches too close to glass vessel edge may heat glass vessel until it breaks into pieces. After every use, make sure to center the wick if necessary.
• At first use, let the candle burn until an even melt pool of wax has developed. But maximum 3 hours. If the candle does not burn until an even melt pool has developed at first time use, it will tunnel. This is due to that Natural wax has a "wax memory" and behaves repeatedly as first time use. 
• CAUTION: The glass may become hot during use, be careful how you handle the candle.
• Extinguish any candle that smokes excessively (check instructions before relighting)

• Irregularities may occure such as rough surfaces, airholes or pitted tops after burning. 
  This is a sign that the wax is 100% natural, handmade and no paraffin is used in the production. 
  it does not affect the performance of the candle but simply is a sign of a all natural wax.
